Travis Woodbury has over 15 years of military and law enforcement sniper experience and provides training to those looking for a personalized shooting experience. Learn the basic fundamental marksmanship skills needed to shoot long-range precision. Understand how to assess all the key components of a precision shooting system – from bullet design, barrel performance, powder performance, velocity consistency, rifle alignment systems, scope adjustments, wind adjustments, etc.

Training includes topics such as Angular Units of Measure (AUM) that is critical to accurately adjusting your sights for precise impacts on targets. How to properly use scopes with graduated turrets and reticle designs best suited to shoot effectively. Learn a simple test to measure your scopes turret adjustment accuracy and how to calibrate for any adjustment errors. Learn a basic foundation of how to predict and account for wind drift on the bullet. An overview of Ballistic Calculators that are available and the information they need to accurately predict the bullet’s trajectory.  Students will typically shoot targets beyond 1,000 yards. The curriculum covers, but not limited to:

Regardless of your current experience level, from novice to marksman, this course will make you a better shooter whether busting rocks at 1,000 yards, entering long-range competitions or hunting for a buck of a lifetime.

Classes are exclusive to you and your group only.

Attendees need to bring a rifle, 100-200 rounds ammunition and scope that are capable of reasonably accurate performance at distance.

Ammunition and rifles are available for rent upon pre-scheduled request. Quantities limited.

Lunch and snacks provided.

Non-refundable and non-movable after payment and dates are set.

One Day Course:

  • $1,000 per person, minimum of two
  • $750 for each additional person
  • $2,000 if you come by yourself

Add a second day (recommended) for $500 per person
