5/2/22: Machinist

We are looking for an experienced candidate who shares our values to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal
candidate is highly skilled, dynamic, positive, personable, and self-sufficient. If you have a can-do attitude, the
skills and experience to perform a wide variety of firearms manufacturing related duties, we’re looking for you!
This position is located at our climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Boise, ID.

Responsibilities and Duties:
● Use CAM programs we provide to setup machines and make parts
● Make machine offsets and tool offsets to machine parts
● Understand part prints and GD&T and inspect machined parts
● Lathe and mill operation experience.
● Understanding of fixturing and machining parts.
● Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and digital height gauge to inspect parts.
● Understand G and M code.

Qualifications/Skills:
● CNC machine experience.
● Experienced with cutting tool knowledge and usage
● knowledge of feeds and speeds of lathe
● Highly organized, dependable, accurate, responsible, and work independently
● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Education and Experience Requirements:
● High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
● Machine technology schooling (ideally).
● Competency in MS Office
● Clear communication skills.

4/28/22: Firearms Certification Specialist

We are looking for an experienced candidate who shares our values to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, dynamic, positive, personable, and self-sufficient. If you have a can-do attitude, the skills and experience to perform a wide variety of firearms manufacturing related duties, we’re looking for you! This position is located at our manufacturing facility in Boise, ID.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Test fire rifles to ensure safe function and performance
  • Certify rifles to meet our accuracy guarantee of sub-.5” MOA with premium factory ammunition and sub-.25” MOA with our custom loads (3-shot groups at 100 yards)
  • Develop and load ammunition
  • Prove accuracy of rifles out to 1,000 yards and have a solid understanding of ballistics, weather meters, such as Kestral 5700 or Hornady Ballistics app, and other programmable rangefinders (training provided)
  • Log testing and load data and prepare reports
    Perform various duties related to the assembly of rifles as directed

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experienced, highly skilled shooter capable of shooting sub-.5” MOA with premium factory ammunition and sub-.25” MOA with our custom loads (3-shot groups at 100 yards)
  • Experienced in ammunition loading and load development
  • Experienced in and understanding of basic bullet performance such a trajectory, velocity, etc.
  • Experienced in data collection and record keeping
  • Highly organized, dependable, accurate, responsible, and able to work independently
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Firearms, shooting experience
  • Competency in MS Office
